ACTIVITIES – FONTES DEL PORCÍA

Fontes del Porcía has as its main goal the management, representation, and defence of the collective expression of the social, cultural, and environmental interests and aspirations of the citizens of the Porcía River Valley, in the northwestern region of Asturias.

To achieve these goals, Fontes del Porcía carries out various activities. Among them:

LAND BANK

One of the most notable projects is the management of a land bank aimed at curbing the expansion of eucalyptus and promoting the planting of native trees that contribute to the biodiversity and sustainability of the ecosystem.

VOLUNTEERING

Each volunteer is key to ensuring that our projects continue to progress. If you share our commitment to nature, heritage, and culture, and want to be part of a community actively working for the Porcía River valley, we welcome you with open arms!

DISCLOSURE

Environmental, heritage, and cultural outreach plays a fundamental role in the preservation of natural environments and in raising society’s awareness of the importance of protecting the historical legacy and biodiversity of a territory.
