At Fontes del Porcía, we firmly believe that caring for the environment is a shared responsibility. Since our beginnings, we have worked passionately to protect nature and promote environmental education as fundamental pillars in building a more conscious and committed society in the Porcía River Valley. Our mission is to drive real change, promoting a balance between humanity and nature. We want to inspire sustainable habits, preserve biodiversity, and ensure the well-being of our environment for future generations. To achieve this, we need the support of people like you: active defenders willing to contribute with their time and knowledge to our quest.

Volunteers are the heart of our organization. Their work enables every project to come to life and ensures that each action has a lasting impact. According to the Law of the Principality of Asturias 10/2001, of November 12, volunteering is defined as a free and supportive activity, carried out without gaining any profit and oriented towards the common good within specific programs. In Fontes del Porcía, this participation translates into different forms of collaboration:

Skills-based volunteering

Professionals who contribute their skills and knowledge to improve our initiatives.

Corporate volunteering

Support in the daily management and functioning of the association.

Field volunteering

Individuals who collaborate directly to on-the-ground activities, from reforestation to environmental clean-ups.
